With Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Gamefly etc. our choices for TV shows, movies, and videogames are immense, which is awesome, but also overwhelming. Where does a person even begin when there are so many choices? Should you start with the shiny, exciting new releases? With old favorites? With things that looked interesting but you never quite got around to? Unfortunately, among so many choices, amazing older shows, movies, and games get lost or forgotten about, even though they're very much still relevant, riveting entertainment. (When I say relevant, I'm thinking about entertaining and significant. Media has a lot to say about the societies we live in and the people that we are. You better believe we're going to talk about about what these pieces are saying.) In short, Retro Reviews's mission is to introduce you to (or remind you of) TV shows, movies, and videogames, that are important and entertaining enough to deserve a second look.
